Finished with unique Michael Kelly style tweaks, the Forte Port tips the concept of an electro-acoustic guitar on its head by shifting the sound-hole and adding specially developed bracing for sublime sound. Since the sound board between the bridge and base of the neck is now uninterrupted, the tone is not only enriched and given more resonance, but actually pulls more dynamics out of your playing. To amplify the sound with the quality it only deserves, a Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and matching Presys preamp with tuner has been integrated. Plug the Forte into your acoustic amp of choice and enjoy the pure acoustic sound shaped by a solid spruce top and sapele back and sides.

Dit was mijn eerste akoestische gitaar dus het was in het begin even wennen, maar deze gitaar maakt het zo makkelijk. De gitaar klinkt echt fantatisch en speelt super goed. De afwerking is ook erg goed voor een gitaar in deze prijsklasse. Zeker een aanrader.

I'm a very late comer (70+ old and playing for about 18 months) to guitar playing. I also wear hearing aids.This makes it a little difficult to focus on my own guitar when playing with the rest of the class I attend, so I thought a side port guitar might help me there.
Playing solo the sound is very clear and louder than I've been used to. The proof of its effectiveness for someone like me will be when classes recommence soon, and I may well post another review then.
The only downside, for me, is that the neck is a little thicker than I've been used to and I'm having to work on bar chords a bit.
Delivery was very quick and the guitar was in good order when I unpacked it
